# HackMotion Golf vs Lag Shot Golf

The clearest difference is ratings volume: HackMotion Golf at 392 against Lag Shot Golf's 3. HackMotion Golf also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Lag Shot Golf's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HackMotion Golf holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HackMotion Golf has 392 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of HackMotion Golf's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lag Shot Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HackMotion Golf ships an update every 5 days, Lag Shot Golf every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
