# Eclipse vs Seahart

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eclipse at weekly against Seahart's every 6 months. Eclipse also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eclipse sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Seahart sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eclipse ships an update weekly, Seahart every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
