# Lucky Wheel vs Clue

The clearest difference is price: Lucky Wheel at Free against Clue's $4.99. Lucky Wheel also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 59%). Clue's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and chart position (#26 vs unranked). On ratings volume, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Lucky Wheel is free to download; Clue costs $4.99 up front. Lucky Wheel sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Clue sells 26 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clue holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.9K and 4.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Lucky Wheel's written reviews are positive against 59% of Clue's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lucky Wheel ships an update monthly, Clue every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
