# CrossChex Mobile vs CCTV Super Password

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CCTV Super Password at 78% against CrossChex Mobile's 20%. CCTV Super Password also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (15 vs 2). CrossChex Mobile's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CrossChex Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CCTV Super Password has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of CrossChex Mobile's written reviews are positive against 78% of CCTV Super Password's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CrossChex Mobile ships an update every 2 months, CCTV Super Password every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
