# Travee vs MappRides

The clearest difference is rating: MappRides at 5.0 against Travee's 4.6. MappRides also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Travee's advantage is ratings volume (156 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MappRides holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Travee has 156 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Travee ships an update monthly, MappRides weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
