# 有声小说 vs Chibook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 有声小说 at none against Chibook's 1. Chibook's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chibook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 有声小说 asks for nothing beyond the download.

有声小说 ships an update every 3 weeks, Chibook every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
