# Diag vs BimmerObd

The clearest difference is rating: BimmerObd at 5.0 against Diag's 2.8. BimmerObd also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). Diag's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BimmerObd sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Diag asks for nothing beyond the download.
