# Batch vs Alphabet Adventures

Batch and Alphabet Adventures both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Alphabet Adventures's written reviews are positive against 38% of Batch's. Alphabet Adventures also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Batch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alphabet Adventures sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Batch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alphabet Adventures holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Batch has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Batch's written reviews are positive against 100% of Alphabet Adventures's.

Batch ships an update every 3 weeks, Alphabet Adventures every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
