# Crimezer vs CrimeDoor

The clearest difference is ratings volume: CrimeDoor at 760 against Crimezer's 3. CrimeDoor also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). Crimezer's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CrimeDoor holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrimeDoor has 760 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Crimezer ships an update every 5 months, CrimeDoor monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
