# Google Fit vs GUESS Connect Digital+

The clearest difference is rating: GUESS Connect Digital+ at 5.0 against Google Fit's 4.2. GUESS Connect Digital+ also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). Google Fit's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 3) and review sentiment (20% vs 11%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GUESS Connect Digital+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Fit has 2.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Google Fit's written reviews are positive against 11% of GUESS Connect Digital+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Google Fit ships an update every 5 weeks, GUESS Connect Digital+ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
