# Google Fit vs Orange Heroes

The clearest difference is rating: Orange Heroes at 5.0 against Google Fit's 4.2. Orange Heroes also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Google Fit's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 1) and review sentiment (20% vs 7%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Orange Heroes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Fit has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Google Fit's written reviews are positive against 7% of Orange Heroes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Google Fit ships an update every 5 weeks, Orange Heroes fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
