# MR Soft vs Escape Time

The clearest difference is price: Escape Time at Free against MR Soft's $0.99. Escape Time also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (14K vs 19). MR Soft's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Escape Time is free to download; MR Soft costs $0.99 up front. Escape Time sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. MR Soft asks for nothing beyond the download.

Escape Time holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Escape Time has 14K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of MR Soft's written reviews are positive against 48% of Escape Time's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
