# Fruit Escape vs Go Slice

Fruit Escape and Go Slice both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Fruit Escape's written reviews are positive against 56% of Go Slice's. Go Slice's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (5K vs 150). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fruit Escape sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Go Slice sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Fruit Escape against 4.6 for Go Slice. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Go Slice has 5K ratings behind it against 150, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Fruit Escape's written reviews are positive against 56% of Go Slice's.

Fruit Escape ships an update every 5 months, Go Slice weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
