# wifi vs SQCOM.

The clearest difference is review sentiment: wifi at 100% against SQCOM.'s 34%. wifi also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 17) and ads (none vs shown). SQCOM.'s advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (94 vs 7). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SQCOM. sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. wifi asks for nothing beyond the download.

SQCOM. holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SQCOM. has 94 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of wifi's written reviews are positive against 34% of SQCOM.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

wifi ships an update every 2 months, SQCOM. every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
