# Planity vs App

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Planity at 1.8K against App's 10. Planity also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (69% vs 57%). App's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Planity holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planity has 1.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of Planity's written reviews are positive against 57% of App's.

Planity ships an update every 2 months, App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
