# 100.7 The Score vs Optimum

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Optimum at 29K against 100.7 The Score's 274. Optimum also leads on review sentiment (15% vs 0%) and device support (3 vs 1). 100.7 The Score's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

100.7 The Score holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Optimum has 29K ratings behind it against 274, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of 100.7 The Score's written reviews are positive against 15% of Optimum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

100.7 The Score ships an update every 5 months, Optimum every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
