# LCE Events vs ITVP Showcase

The clearest difference is ads: LCE Events at none against ITVP Showcase's shown. LCE Events also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). ITVP Showcase's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for LCE Events against 5.0 for ITVP Showcase. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LCE Events has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
