# EZIVIEW vs connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: connect at every 3 weeks against EZIVIEW's every 9 months. EZIVIEW's advantage is iOS requirement (8.1 vs 10.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EZIVIEW ships an update every 9 months, connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
