# Pexels vs NatureApp

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Pexels at 37K against NatureApp's 21. Pexels also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). NatureApp's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Pexels against 5.0 for NatureApp. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pexels has 37K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Pexels's written reviews are positive against 100% of NatureApp's.

Pexels ships an update every 2 weeks, NatureApp every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
