# LiveBarn vs HkyPro

The clearest difference is rating: HkyPro at 5.0 against LiveBarn's 2.6. HkyPro also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). LiveBarn's advantage is ratings volume (569 vs 4) and chart position (#160 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HkyPro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveBarn has 569 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LiveBarn ships an update monthly, HkyPro every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
