# Plink vs Car Auto Play

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Car Auto Play at 51% against Plink's 0%. Car Auto Play also leads on ratings volume (7.5K vs 7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Plink's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Auto Play sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Plink asks for nothing beyond the download.

Plink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Car Auto Play has 7.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Plink's written reviews are positive against 51% of Car Auto Play's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Plink ships an update every 2 months, Car Auto Play every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
