# TAROM vs Mongolian Airlines

The clearest difference is rating: Mongolian Airlines at 4.0 against TAROM's 2.4. TAROM's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (18 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mongolian Airlines holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of TAROM's written reviews are positive against 14% of Mongolian Airlines's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TAROM ships an update every 3 months, Mongolian Airlines every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
