# DC DMV vs Digital Invea

The clearest difference is rating: DC DMV at 4.6 against Digital Invea's 2.9. DC DMV also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (5.2K vs 323). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DC DMV holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DC DMV has 5.2K ratings behind it against 323, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of DC DMV's written reviews are positive against 39% of Digital Invea's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DC DMV ships an update every 5 weeks, Digital Invea every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
