# DC DMV vs Solar Solution DC

DC DMV and Solar Solution DC both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Solar Solution DC's written reviews are positive against 35% of DC DMV's. Solar Solution DC also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). DC DMV's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 7). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DC DMV holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DC DMV has 5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of DC DMV's written reviews are positive against 100% of Solar Solution DC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
