# DiaManBGM vs Glucometer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Glucometer at free against DiaManBGM's free with in-app purchases. DiaManBGM's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 15 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DiaManBGM sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Glucometer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DiaManBGM ships an update every 3 months, Glucometer every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
