# UA vs Fore

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: UA at none against Fore's 4. UA also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Fore's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fore sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. UA asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for UA against 5.0 for Fore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UA has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

UA ships an update every 4 months, Fore every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
