# 앙톡 vs 아챗

The clearest difference is rating: 아챗 at 4.8 against 앙톡's 3.0. 아챗 also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (82% vs 68%). 앙톡's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 앙톡 sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and 아챗 sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

아챗 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 아챗 has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of 앙톡's written reviews are positive against 82% of 아챗's.

앙톡 ships an update every 5 months, 아챗 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
