# Romel Wiki vs MHWilds Guide

The clearest difference is rating: MHWilds Guide at 4.8 against Romel Wiki's 2.6. MHWilds Guide also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (47 vs 5). Romel Wiki's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (63% vs 48%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Romel Wiki sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and MHWilds Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MHWilds Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MHWilds Guide has 47 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Romel Wiki's written reviews are positive against 48% of MHWilds Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Romel Wiki ships an update every 3 months, MHWilds Guide every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
