# Sprout HR vs eGovPH

The clearest difference is rating: Sprout HR at 5.0 against eGovPH's 4.5. eGovPH's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 36%) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sprout HR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eGovPH has 3.6K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Sprout HR's written reviews are positive against 65% of eGovPH's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sprout HR ships an update fortnightly, eGovPH every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
