# Tattoo Studio Simulator 3D vs Piercing Parlor

The clearest difference is rating: Piercing Parlor at 4.5 against Tattoo Studio Simulator 3D's 2.7. Piercing Parlor also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 43). Tattoo Studio Simulator 3D's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tattoo Studio Simulator 3D sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Piercing Parlor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Piercing Parlor holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Piercing Parlor has 17K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Tattoo Studio Simulator 3D's written reviews are positive against 20% of Piercing Parlor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
