# CAPEB vs Initio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Initio at every 4 days against CAPEB's every 2 months. CAPEB's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CAPEB ships an update every 2 months, Initio every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
