# Moros vs Dark Throne

The clearest difference is ads: Moros at none against Dark Throne's shown. Dark Throne's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (148 vs 14). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moros sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Dark Throne sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Moros against 4.4 for Dark Throne. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dark Throne has 148 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Moros ships an update every 6 weeks, Dark Throne fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
