# Taco Maya vs Roti

The clearest difference is update cadence: Roti at weekly against Taco Maya's every 8 months. Roti also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (2K vs 297). Taco Maya's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 28%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Roti holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roti has 2K ratings behind it against 297, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Taco Maya's written reviews are positive against 28% of Roti's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Taco Maya ships an update every 8 months, Roti weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
