# Shapical X vs Hypergram

The clearest difference is rating: Hypergram at 4.0 against Shapical X's 3.3. Shapical X's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 25%) and ratings volume (12 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shapical X sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Hypergram sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hypergram holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Shapical X's written reviews are positive against 25% of Hypergram's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shapical X ships an update fortnightly, Hypergram every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
