# Daily Postcard vs Casted

The clearest difference is rating: Daily Postcard at 4.0 against Casted's 3.0. Daily Postcard also leads on ratings volume (64 vs 4) and review sentiment (62% vs 50%). Casted's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Postcard sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Casted sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Postcard holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Postcard has 64 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Daily Postcard's written reviews are positive against 50% of Casted's.

Daily Postcard ships an update weekly, Casted every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
