# Emolog vs Reflection

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Emolog at 2.7K against Reflection's 1. Emolog also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Reflection's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emolog sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Reflection sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reflection holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Emolog has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Emolog's written reviews are positive against 100% of Reflection's.

Emolog ships an update every 5 days, Reflection every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
