# Clock Face vs Digital Time

The clearest difference is ads: Digital Time at none against Clock Face's shown. Digital Time also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Clock Face's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clock Face sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Digital Time sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clock Face ships an update fortnightly, Digital Time every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
