# Yakety App vs Flow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Yakety App at none against Flow's 3. Yakety App also leads on ratings volume (18 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.1). Flow's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 11 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Yakety App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yakety App has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Yakety App ships an update every 11 months, Flow every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
