# Paris Baguette vs Square Coffee

Paris Baguette and Square Coffee both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 61% of Paris Baguette's written reviews are positive against 0% of Square Coffee's. Paris Baguette also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 1) and chart position (#101 vs unranked). Square Coffee's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Square Coffee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paris Baguette has 26K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Paris Baguette's written reviews are positive against 0% of Square Coffee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paris Baguette ships an update every 2 months, Square Coffee every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
