# Darrak GPS vs Afghan PAY

The clearest difference is update cadence: Afghan PAY at every 3 months against Darrak GPS's every 9 months. Darrak GPS's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Afghan PAY holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Darrak GPS has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Darrak GPS ships an update every 9 months, Afghan PAY every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
