# 801 PRIME vs Q39

The clearest difference is monetization model: Q39 at free against 801 PRIME's free with in-app purchases. 801 PRIME's advantage is ratings volume (5.7K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for 801 PRIME against 5.0 for Q39. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 801 PRIME has 5.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

801 PRIME ships an update every 9 days, Q39 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
