# Aladdin vs Hidden Journey 2

Aladdin and Hidden Journey 2 both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Aladdin's written reviews are positive against 60% of Hidden Journey 2's. Hidden Journey 2's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (20K vs 2.7K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aladdin sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Hidden Journey 2 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Aladdin against 4.6 for Hidden Journey 2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidden Journey 2 has 20K ratings behind it against 2.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Aladdin's written reviews are positive against 60% of Hidden Journey 2's.

Aladdin ships an update every 8 months, Hidden Journey 2 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
