# Pixel Petz vs LaugHappy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LaugHappy at none against Pixel Petz's 12. LaugHappy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Pixel Petz's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixel Petz sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. LaugHappy asks for nothing beyond the download.

LaugHappy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixel Petz has 10K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pixel Petz ships an update every 2 weeks, LaugHappy every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
