# ChildPilot Staff vs Bright NOW

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bright NOW at 100% against ChildPilot Staff's 33%. ChildPilot Staff's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ChildPilot Staff holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of ChildPilot Staff's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bright NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ChildPilot Staff ships an update every 2 weeks, Bright NOW every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
