# Random Picker vs Maytag

Random Picker and Maytag both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of Random Picker's written reviews are positive against 30% of Maytag's. Random Picker also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.1). Maytag's advantage is ratings volume (46K vs 1.5K) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Random Picker against 4.7 for Maytag. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Maytag has 46K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
