# Random Picker vs Sincerely

Random Picker and Sincerely both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of Random Picker's written reviews are positive against 40% of Sincerely's. Random Picker also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 25) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). Sincerely's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (36K vs 2K). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sincerely sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Random Picker asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Random Picker against 4.7 for Sincerely. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sincerely has 36K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of Random Picker's written reviews are positive against 40% of Sincerely's.

Random Picker ships an update every 6 months, Sincerely every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
