# Barometer vs WatchBarometer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Barometer at every 5 days against WatchBarometer's every 3 months. Barometer also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barometer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and WatchBarometer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Barometer ships an update every 5 days, WatchBarometer every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
