# APE X85 vs xDelete

The clearest difference is monetization model: APE X85 at free against xDelete's paid. APE X85 also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). xDelete's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

xDelete holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: xDelete has 499 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of APE X85's written reviews are positive against 73% of xDelete's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

APE X85 ships an update every 8 months, xDelete every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
