# Homey vs ChillCommit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ChillCommit at 100% against Homey's 55%. ChillCommit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Homey's advantage is ratings volume (530 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homey sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ChillCommit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChillCommit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homey has 530 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of Homey's written reviews are positive against 100% of ChillCommit's.

Homey ships an update every 3 weeks, ChillCommit every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
