# Random vs Decision Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Random at 56% against Decision Maker's 33%. Random also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 69) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). Decision Maker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Decision Maker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Random holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random has 2.8K ratings behind it against 69, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of Random's written reviews are positive against 33% of Decision Maker's.

Random ships an update every 3 weeks, Decision Maker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
